Coming into , Elizabeth Mulina of O’Fallon, Mo., knew she wanted to work in a business field after she graduated. With an interest in the psychology of marketing, Mulina says she’s looking forward to eventually working in international business and technology. And that’s one reason she decided to come to Missouri S&T.
“I wanted a school that I knew I would leave with a job after graduation,” she says. “I knew that putting my education in the hands of Missouri S&T’s professors was a great idea.”
Mulina, who is pursuing a double major in business administration and information science and technology, says she picked S&T specifically because of the business program.
“The reputation of S&T as an engineering school has been made through the entire 20th century,” she says. “I know the business program’s accreditation will put Missouri S&T on the map with the top business programs in the country. I plan to be part of making that reputation.”
With her first year of classes behind her, this freshman says she’s enjoyed her introductory-level marketing and business management and entrepreneurship classes the most.
“Professor Fukawa brought this amazing energy to class and taught us about the different aspects of marketing in an unique way I would have never gotten from another university,” she says.
