Traditionally, personal and family finances were the man's responsibility, but in 21st-century America, it is increasingly vital for women—whether single, married, divorced or widowed—to have good money management skills.
MU Extension's Women's Financial Education Series, a five-week workshop program, has helped hundreds of women in the St. Louis area gain confidence and take control of their finances. Topics include setting financial goals; banking, credit and debt management; estate planning; insurance; retirement planning; and investing.
