Program engages students in developing world's communities
The student chapter of (EWB) at Missouri S&T takes students outside of the classroom to share expertise with communities in the developing world. The organization currently has sanitation projects in Honduras, Bolivia, and Guatemala.
According to Richard Stephenson, professor of and EWB advisor, the impact of these projects goes far beyond the community the students are serving and brings a life changing experience to each student who participates.
Founded in 2005, the Missouri S&T chapter was the first EWB established in Missouri.
