, which would modify provisions relating to degree offerings at public institutions of higher education was truly agreed and finally passed Wednesday afternoon. The bill now heads to the Governor’s desk for signature.

Representative Chuck Basye’s , Missouri Returning Heroes Education Act was perfected and printed this week on the House Floor. This bill limits the amount of tuition charged to combat veterans enrolled in a program leading to a graduate degree to no more than 30% of the cost of tuition and fees within a 10-year period beginning on the date of the veteran’s last discharge from service. This would encourage servicemen and women who fought for our country to pursue a higher education degree.
