    Academic Credit

Academic credit is not guaranteed as a matter of participation in this program, but is a possibility. It is ultimately the responsibility of the student-intern to discuss the program with their academic unit and advisor to determine eligibility for credit, which we greatly encourage. If a student is eligible to and elects to receive academic credit for the internship, the student is responsible for paying any costs associated with said credit hours and completing any additional assignments as required by the instructor.

    Compensation

Interns will receive a $2,000 stipend, paid in two $1,000 installments in February and May, contingent on completion of the internship. Interns will also receive compensation for approved travel expenses. To ensure you have adequate time to  make informed financial decisions, your compensation will be finalized upon your acceptance into the program. Please contact ASUM Executive Director, Ryan Highfill if you have any questions or concerns about academic credit or compensation.
